Rachel Delgado spent eight years teaching second and third grade before staying home with her own two kids, now 4 and 7, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The classroom habits never left. She still can't watch a child tap through a learning app without quietly checking whether it's teaching anything or just keeping them busy.
